Chihuahua's are excellent pets for people who live in apartments. Chihuahua's are easy to house train and they can get plenty of exercise just running around the apartment. And Shi-Zu's are also extremely well apartment pets. Chihuaha's are often agressive, which means they are not very cuddly.

I have a griffichon in a one bedroom condo-basically an apartment. He is small enough to get plenty of exercise just running around the condo. We do take him out for at least 2 longer walks per day. He had a difficult time with housebreaking-we are going to attempt to litter box train him.
