Tiesto was the first Trance DJ to make trance what it is today. Trance was almost nothing being played as acid Trance in clubs in Germany in the 80's-and early 90s. Tiesto then came out and popularized the whole genre with his track Traffic and then his album in my memory blew the roof off of electronic music forever.
