The main religion which suggests that there is such a possibility of souls engaging in various cycles of reincarnation also suggested that a soul can transmigrate through various organisms. By the recognized theology of reincarnation all animals/creatures/humans can reincarnate into anyone of the millions of species of life in existence today.

Because only a very few seeds will find a good germination ground under normal conditions, so the strategy for plants, as for other R selected organisms, is to cast many lower quality seeds into the environment and improve the chances that some will survive and reproduce.

Also to ensure their survival against several predators and hostile environmental conditions so that those seed bearing plants can survive and transmigrate.
