| US Military Dictionary: Trinity Site |
An area of the desert in New Mexico where the first atomic bomb was tested at 5:29:45 am on July 16, 1945. Trinity Site is located on the White Sands Missile Range, sixty miles (ninety-seven km) northwest of Alamogordo and 110 miles (177 km) south of Albuquerque.
