Game Description
Part flight simulator, part air combat shooter, Turn and Burn: No-Fly Zone puts players in the cockpit of an F-14 Tomcat that can climb, dive, bank, and thrust, and is armed with three types of missiles: a 20 mm cannon and two types of electronic countermeasures. The action involves flying over the Mediterranean, using computer and radar systems to track down and engage Iraqi aircraft. In addition, players must replenish fuel and weaponry by landing on an aircraft carrier. Despite tricky controls and mediocre sound effects, Turn and Burn is a terrific game, bolstered by realistic Mode 7 graphics, forward and backward viewpoints, challenging shooting action, and a unique two-player simultaneous mode.~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
