Unmitigated is a word that describes someone or something that is not qualified to do what they are doing. A good sentence would be, he was unmitigated to replace the roof on his parent house.

I know someone who was recently diagnosed as having unmitigated gall. She contracted it while on the phone with a crabby old woman, which seems to have brought on the condition. Other possible factors included cats, money, and an even worse malady that's very hard to rid yourself of... Vicki-itis. So far the unmitigated gall only seems to have caused mild headaches, perpetual work weeks, and occasional outbursts-- as might be expected from someone with tourette syndrome. We expect she will make a full recovery, but are worried about the possibility of reexposure to the infectious source.
