Unnecessary Roughness '95

Game Description

Accolade delivers their first football game for the Genesis with Unnecessary Roughness '95, featuring two different perspectives during play: a high overhead view of a vertical field and a zoomed-in view whenever the ball crosses the line of scrimmage. The game also includes an NFLPA license for 1,400 actual players individually rated in skill, speed, strength and agility. While the game does not include an NFL license for authentic team names and logos, all 28 teams are based on their professional counterparts for the 1993 season. Three game modes await pigskin fans, including Exhibition, Season and the Two-Minute Drill.

The Two-Minute Drill has your team down by four points as you receive the kickoff with only two minutes left on the clock. The goal? To put together that game-winning touchdown drive before time runs out! Other notable features include: digitized player cards for 150 stars; award-winning broadcaster Al Michaels calling the action from the booth; adjustable quarter lengths (5, 10 or 15 minutes); and three different difficulty levels (Rookie, Veteran and All-Pro). A memory chip allows both league and championship standings to be saved without requiring the use of passwords.
