How are the Vedas and upanishads similar?

The Vedas and Upanishads are similar in that they are both composed  in Sanskrit. They both were originally only taught to males who had  undergone the Upanayana ritual.

What are the upanishads?

The collection of Vedict texts is called Upanishads. It includes  the early central and religious concepts of Buddhism, Hinduism, and  Jainism.

How many Upanishads are there?

There are more than 200 known Upanishads of which the most well known are Brahmasutra and the Bhagavatgita. The 10 are most important are: Eashavasyopanishad, Kenopanishad, (MORE)
