The USS Indianapolis
I got interested in this because all the accounts of the USS
Indianapolis going to Tinian only mention "Little Boy." It seems
that structural, non radioactive parts for both bombs were carried
to Tinian by the USS Indianapolis.
However, the plutonium for the core was flown in by four
separate C-54 airplanes called "Green Hornets."
