You do not pay anything for Void Vanishment's initial activation. You just place it face-up or flip it face-up. It then remains on the field as a continuous spell card that has a re-usable 'activated effect'; when you want to activate this effect, you pay the listed cost and start a chain.

It shouldn"t be allowed. there is very little demand for child-actor roles anyhow- as far back as the thirties- the Movie Moguls realized potential bad attitudes- and boycotts from audiences- so substituted short-statured actors- such as Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland-for juvenile roles. the advent of cartoons from King Feature syndicate ( Felix the Cat) Disney ( Mickey Mouse, etc) and Warner Brothers ( Bugs Bunny, loony Tunes) further reduced the market niche(lilke we were talking about obsolete camera sizes!) to near vanishment. It can escalate into abuse like a rocket-assisted take-off. better not done in the first place.
