the variable cam timing (VCT) solenoid on the ZX2 can be found on the same side of the engine as the cam gears are on. The parts of the VCT are located on the exhaust cam and between the two cams

exhaust cam ..at the front of the cam .

This code can be triggered by a timing belt being installed improperly (out of time). But most likely it is the variable cam timing valve which is located inside the exhaust cam sprocket. It is expensive, so be sure the timing is setup properly first.
