  • The Walloons, inhabitants of Wallonia, a geographic term of a part of Belgium based on an identity concept; see for instance the Walloons' Song.
  • The Walloons, inhabitants (often called Wallonians when seen as citizens) of the Walloon Region (often called Wallonia), a region of the federal state of Belgium.
  • Walloon is also the adjective referring
    – either to Wallonia or its people, for instance the Walloon language;
    – or to the Walloon Region, for instance the Walloon Parliament and the province named Walloon Brabant;
      (The distinction is not always clearly made, see for instance the Walloon Rally, a "Walloon" political party active from 1968 to 1985.)
