Dance event, for Olympic-sized swimming pools, created by Daniel Larrieu, with a sound score by J.-J. Palix (including music by Mahler), lighting by F. Michel, costumes by R. Fléa, and video by L. Riolon. Premiered in 1986 by Astrakan Dance Company at the Jean Bouin municipal pool, Angers. The dancers wear black swimsuits and goggles and perform on, under, and out of the water while video screens project the choreography filmed from underwater cameras. It has been staged at various pools around the world and filmed for British television (Channel 4).
