Macs use the standard WebDAV (Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning) protocols to connect to web folders. Opening them, in most software, requires a double click. Specific details would depend on the software/connection details. Apple's own iDisk uses WebDAV and the free CyberDuck is a reliable means of connecting. (See links below)
