"What hath God wrought" is the text of the first telegraph message ever transmitted. It was sent by Samuel F.B. Morse on May 24, 1844, from Washington, DC, to Baltimore (and was sent back again by Morse's assistant, Alfred Vail). The message is a biblical quotation from Numbers 23:23.
