Wireless Data Solutions, which operates through subsidiary Distributed Networks (Dinet), makes wireless data terminals used by vehicle fleet operators. The company's FleetVantage software keeps track of where trucks and other vehicles are, using Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology. Wireless Data/Dinet has agreed to merge with privately held IDA Corporation, which markets a global tracking data center software system called TRAKIT. The merger is contingent on the loss-ridden Wireless Data's ability to raise capital. Wireless Data has offices in California and Minnesota.
