Islamic weeks are as following; Sunday; Yawm Al-Aḥad Monday ;
Yawm Al-Ithnayn Tuesday ; Yawm Ath-Thulaathaaʼ Wednesday; Yawm
Al-Arba'aa' Thursday ; Yawm Al-Khamīs Friday ; Yawm Al-Jumu'ah
Saturday ; Yawm As-Sabt
The above are the days of the week. There is no term for the
weeks themselves.
From Sunday to Thursday, the names of the days of the week just
indicate a numerical position (1st day, 2nd day, 3rd day, 4th day,
and 5th day). Friday means "the Day of Gathering" in reference to
Islamic prayer. Saturday comes from the Hebrew root Shabbat
referring to the Jewish day of rest.
