Robert Ziff (son of infamous publishing giant William Ziff Jr)
currently does not hold ownership of or day-to-day responsibilities
of governing any company. He took over Ziff/Davis Publishing
Company and built the Niche magazine world (things like PC World,
Car & Driver, etc.) but sold 95% of the shares to Forstmann
Little in '94.
He and his two brothers also started Ziff Family Investments but
this company does not serve the public. It was formed when he
seeded Daniel Och for his 10% stake in the family wealth.
