The first myth was a long time ago in China where the adults would tell their children about the dragon and the dragon warriors. They would tell them how the warriors would come down with the dragon to diffed the country and if the warriors didn't help a lot, the dragon would come down and kill all the "evils". That is why there is a dragon dance.
