Sunlight through the window.
When a window goes off track on a 2004 Grand Am GT, the door panel has to be removed. The cable for the window is then reset on the track or repaired and the door panel put back on.
Weatherstripping
its jammed you have to take off the whole door panel and window motor to get it back up then it will work fine again.
Take the inside door panel off and unhook the glass from the regulator and pull the glass up out of the door, it will come out from the outside of the door, to put the new one in you need to be on the inside of the door and bring the window into the door from the outside at an angle where the front of the glass goes in first and get it in the track and then slide the back of the gass down into the track and then tighten into the regulator.
i had the same problem you need to get your door regulator fixed
If a power window goes off track on a 1999 Camaro, the door panel can be removed and the window put back on the cable track. The door panel can be removed by opening the clips on the corners. If there are lights in the door panel, the light covers need to be removed first.
take the door panel off and disconect the wire assembly or window regulator that goes to the power window moter and manually pull the window up.
keep feeding him and leave the window open then he will be attempted to come in or leave wall nuts on the window seal till the squirrel comes to get it then when it goes away bang on the window then it will come to you or let him in.
You have to remove the door trim on the inside of the door. Also remove the window crank handle if it is manual windows. 1. remove the window regulator by unbolting the regulator from the door shell and sliding the window guide arms out of the window channels. 2. You then remove either side or both sides of the vertical window channel that the window goes up and down on. 3. Finally, most of the time you need to remove the window rubber seal that runs horizontally along the bottom of the window opening to get the glass and the regulator channel that is attached to the glass out of the door.
Get out of it. You'll probably have to smash the window in order to do this, as the force of water against a car door even 1/3 of the way up the door will be too much for you to be able to open the door.
