heater door actuator for Ford Explorer.
Purge valve
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I was looking at fordparts.com and comparing the heater cores for the 1996 Ford Explorer and the 2000 Ford Explorer and they show the same part number ( so apparently the answer would be YES )
its on the bottom left side on the transmission. your welcome!
I was looking at fordparts.com and it shows the same part number ( Motorcraft DGE - 446 ) for the six tower coil pack on a 1994 Ford Explorer 4.0 liter OHV engine as the 4.0 liter OHV or SOHC engines in a 1998 Ford Explorer , so apparently the answer is YES
No , same part number - Motorcraft FL820S 2002 Ford Explorer - 4.0 L - SOHC - V6 engine ( FL820S ) 2003 Ford Explorer - 4.0 L - SOHC - V6 engine ( FL820S ) 2002 Ford Explorer - 4.6 L - V8 engine ( FL820S ) 2003 Ford Explorer - 4.6 L - V8 engine ( FL820S ) according to the 2002 and 2003 Ford Explorer owners manuals
different part numbers. I don't think they interchange.
napa part number AR272SB price $9.49
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I was looking at one of the Ford websites and it shows ( for the 4.0 liter SOHC , V6 engine ) the engine cooling thermostat has DIFFERENT part numbers ( so , I would say the answer is NO ) * for the 2000 Explorer , Ford lists one part number for the 4.0 liter SOHC , V6engine cooling thermostat and for the 2002 , Ford lists two part numbers depending on the build date
Ford parts . com ( no spaces ) shows $ 132.62 U.S. - MSRP / LIST price for the part
The code P1400 reads "DPFE Sensor Voltage Low" (Ford, Mazda). Often it's caused by a bad DPFE sensor or clogged EGR passages. DPFE stands for (Differential Pressure Feedback EGRI) I would clean the EGR valve which cost nothing. If that does not cure the problem, you may need to replace the DPFE sensor, which does cost, and it may not fix the problem. If you want to be sure you replace the correct part, then visit your local Ford dealer. dpfe stands for delta pressure not differential.
www.motorcraft.com shows it as ( RT 1161 ) 190 Fahrenheit / 88 Celsius thermostat
