On Google Earth I make it 2.25 miles. Perhaps the river has changed it a bit since it was originally named, there is a sandbank on the NE corner that may have been joined at one time. Position is 40 deg 09' 17'' N and 76 deg 43' 25'' W. I have put a pin in to mark it.
