The battery
It is red. But to my understanding, it is not a true 12 volt power source. When testing mine, I only get 5.5 volts. You will need to find another source to power the unit.
To convert a 240 volt power source to a 120 volt power source using a 240 volt to 120 volt adapter, simply plug the adapter into the 240 volt outlet and then plug your 120 volt device into the adapter. The adapter will step down the voltage from 240 volts to 120 volts, allowing you to safely power your device. Make sure the adapter is rated for the appropriate wattage to avoid damaging your device.
sorry meant to say 14.3 volt power source

You can power an 86 volt light with a power source that outputs 86 volts, such as a specific battery or power supply designed for that voltage. Ensure that the power source can provide enough current to safely operate the light without damaging it.
Use a transformer.
5% from source to farthest load.
It is not recommended to use a 12 volt power pack on a 9 volt keyboard as it may damage the keyboard due to the higher voltage. It is important to match the voltage requirements of the device to the power source to prevent any issues.
A computer power supply takes in electricity from it's source, we'll say for example a 120 volt wall outlet and then transforms it into the native 12 volt power usually required by system boards. It also provides other power leads as needed for devices, such as 3.3 volt for smaller devices, controllers and the like, and 5 volt for a CD-rom drive or hard drive? A good power supply also cleans up the power some and takes the brunt of all fluctuations in the source power. Hope this helps!
