Depends on what you're comparing it to. Do you mean fewer tornadoes than in Oklahoma, or simply compared to other parts of North Carolina? If you're comparing to Oklahoma, the difference in number of tornadoes has more to do with climate than geography. Compared with other parts of North Carolina, the rugged terrain may play a role in blocking moisture and inhibiting tornadic thunderstorms from organizing.
It means my little trianon. Le Trianon is a toy hamlet built in the park of the Versailles palace, where the queen Marie-Antoinette pretended to play the shepherdess. There were two of these decorative hamlets, a small one (le Grand Trianon) and a tiny one, (le Petit Trianon) which is essentially a small rococo castle, in the park of the palace. The French middle-class who were able to build some property often refered pleasantly to their place as their 'petit Trianon', as if it was something lavish and fit for the queen herself.
Odysseus blinds the Cyclops, which is Poseidon's son, so Poseidon makes the rest of the trip very hard for Odysseus...
Its Odysseus, not Odyddeus. One of them is where he hides himself, (or clokes himself with a magical item. One of the two...). And then he called him a name. The Cyclops, Polymyth, was angry, and asked, "who's there"? Odysseus said, "Nobody". Polymyth, being a cyclops, wasn't, the sharpest tool in the shed, and he thought "Nobody" was Odysseus's name. He threw boulders at the spot where he thought he heard it. That gave time for Odyseus to escape... Sorry, but I'm not sure what the second one was.
The Cyclops is an antaqonist. The cyclops represents an enemy which is larger than life. Also the Cyclopse cursed Odysseus and forced him to have a long journey home, and also have none of his men come home.
The wine, being very strong, causes the cyclops to fall into a deep sleep.
