I have an earlier serial number of the same gun. It takes a 2-1/2 inch shell. Hope this helps.
There is no serial number on your shotgun. Serial numbers were not required befroe 1968.
JC Higgins Model 20 Shotgun does not have a serial number. Guns were not required to have a serial number before 1938
You cannot the serial number is required.
SN not required before 1968
Should be marked on the barrel
Number of fencing panels required = Roundup(Length of fencing required/Panel length) There is no information in the question about the area to be fenced, so there is no simple formula to calculate the length of fencing required. It is assumed that the fencing panels used are all of the same length.
Serial numbers were not required on rifles and shotguns until 1968.
Contact Mossberg customer service. If the shotgun does not have a serial number (not required until 1968) they will not be able to date it.
You will have to provide the model, type of action, barrel length, gauge
There is a strong likelihood that it does not have one. Serial numbers were not required by law on rifles and shotguns until 1968. If the shotgun is a muzzle loader that uses loose powder and shot, it is considered an antique firearm under Federal law, and is not required to have a serial number.
Without a DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ALL MARKINGS, barrel length, finish, type of action, etc.. there is no way to help. SN's were not required until 1968
This cannot be answered without a more detailed description of your shotgun. Is your shotgun a semi-auto,over under, pump action, single shot? What markings are on your shotgun? What is the barrel length?
