Check the light switch. Resistor coil for dimming may be broken. Dome light and everything else worked on mine but the light switch was broken at the start of the resistor coil.

The fuse probably blew that controls the dashboard lights.
Your brake lights are out too! Replace the fuse.
Brake lights and turn signals are on a separate circuit from the tail lights. Tail lights are on the same circuit with the dashboard lights. If the dashboard lights aren't working either, check the fuse. If they ARE working, check the headlight switch.
Your dashboard lights suddenly not working is almost always your indication that your taillights are out. If the fuse for your taillights is blown and you replace it, your dash lights should be fine.

It depends on which lights are on. There could be an issue with the oil or the tire pressure or you may just need gas.
Typically this is a failure of the headlight switch assembly. See the question about how to replace the headlight switch in a 1991 Cherokee for the answer of how to accomplish.
Some cars have a knob for the headlights. If this knob is turned left or right when pulled out, it changes the brightness of the dashboard lights from off to full brightness.
u may have a defective multifunction switch
check cigarette lighter for metal debris then change fuse.
