if you have efi engine take the rails apart and clean the whole system it got wet and radiator fluid has some light oil
Not hard. Take the radiator cap off and crank it up and let it run until it gets to operating temp. You should be able to see the coolant moving inside the radiator. if it is, it's working.
The crank sensor is located on the front side of the crank pulley, between the pulley and radiator.
What will be the sign when the crank sencer is not working?
Be sure it is in park or neutral.
crank tool is in clips along the top of the frame in front of the radiator, under the hood
Ignition Module is BAD
everything is worn down on the older civics..... oil becomes thicker, gas lines might be alittle frozen, and the starter doesnt always have the ability to crank over.... i recommend putting a flood light by your exhaust manifold but keep it away from gas lines, radiator lines, etc.... it'll keep your engine warmer and better too start!!
If the crank sensor is not working, the engine will not run.
On the front of the engine below the radiator top hose - VERY fiddly to get at but achievable
I don't know, but I have the same problem. My radiator cracked and my battery light and brake light came on ALL at the same time! I got my new radiator today and went to crank the car to drive it to my friend's house and it wouldn't crank. Ggrrrr...I hate being a girl sometimes! == my answer == Commonly this is caused by the failure of the accessory (known as fan or alternator belt) drive belt This causes the alternator to quit working and the engine to overheat, perhaps ruining the engine.
Starter is not working.
The easiest and most effective way to check a crank sensor is with a diagnostic tester. The diagnostic tester can determine whether the crank sensor is working properly.
