Worse case scenario. Float needle stuck in the carb with piston on the intake stroke. Rings may have washed out allowing fuel to pass into the crankcase. You didn't state how much gas though. Your yz uses the oil in the gas to lubricate the crankcase so a little is normal.
The YZ250 only needs about three quarters of a liter of oil. This equates to about .79 quarts, or a little over 3 cups.
what year models can i use parts from to fix my 1992 YZ250
headgasket leak and exhaust gas is getting into the coolant
same problem:( cant even shift though..
Check your transmission fluid. This happened to me in my 1992 Chevy Silverado & it turns out I had a tranny fluid leak.
I believe you are talking about a PCV valve. PCV means Positive Crankcase ventilation.
The switch is bad. Grease inside the switch has burned.
1988-1991 yz250 motors are completely interchangeable. Some parts like the cylinder head use the same casting from 1988-1996. Note: although interchangeable the cylinder ports and cylinder head combustion chamber shape differ form year to year. The optimum setup for a 1990 yz250 is a 1991 cylinder with a 1992 head.
Either have air in your lines or you might need a new clutch plate.

no. And if it does, the pump is not the right pump.
