you may have a loose wire to starter
Turn your ignition to the on position. If an amber lite that reads ABS or Anti-lock comes on in you dash, you do have abs brakes.

My 2003 Buick Century also did that today and I couldn't start my car. Apparently the key for the ignition has been damaged somehow and won't let the car start. Try using your extra key to see if that helps.

I have water leaking into a 1997 Buick LeSabre problem. I cannot find where it comes into the car. It pools in the rear passenger seat driver's side floor. It can happen even while the car is parked.

You may have problems with your brakes' master cylinder. Have it checked by a mechanic.
To locate ignition coil (IC): open hood, to left side of engine there are 3 IC's bolted to cylinder head; they have spark plug wires attached to them (6 wires between all 3 IC's). You can unbolt and swap problem coil with basic set of hand tools, just unbolt install rubber seal new coil comes with and install new IC.
Disconnect the neg battery cabl;e for 30 seconds. If it comes back on, take it to auto zone and have the codes read for free.
It could be a problem with the ABS system, but if it just comes on by itself for no apparent reason, it may be the ignition switch.
you can disconnect the negative cable at the battery for at least 30 seconds. if the problem is intermittent, the light will be out afterwards. if it comes right back on, seek a shop that does engine diag.
