Maybe has something to do with the thermostat, especially if it idles low. I removed mine because of overheating and the same things happens to me. Could be your timing if you fiddled near the timing/fan belt or most probably an electrical fault that will take you a long time to figure out (if other electrical components start behaving funny then take it to an Opel auto-electrician cause it will only get worse trust me).
