I have a 99 Sable with the OHV 3.0 liter. I have the same problem. Things I have changed so far: the engine computer or (PCM) , the crankshaft position sensor, and the ignition coil. Still have NO spark to the engine. The spark plugs don't spark. I am still waiting for more info. Let me know if you have changed something I haven't. Thanks.

Do you have a hot start kit installed? Perhaps it is the relay switch?. Have had the same problem with both an 87 and 88 Cabriolet. Not sure if that will help but you never know! Larissa

if you cant get at your spark plugs the best way is to take the side and front motor mounts out and let the motor down they will be easy to get at make sure you have a jack under the motor comes out like butter
