I was told that 12 is the start of the test and 55 is the end of the test and if nothing else came through that you are ok and the only thing you need to do is unplug your negative cable on your battery for about 10 seconds and then once you plug it up the light will go out. Seems like you are getting code 11 which is an intermittent loss of crankshaft and/or camshft position sensor signals to PCM, complet loss of crankshaft position sensor signal to PCM, or timing belt skipped one or more teeth according to the repair manual. I would get a repair manual from one of the local part stores ASAP.
I believe that is the ( 5R55S ) 5 speed automatic transmission Open the drivers door and look for an information sticker , it will show the transmission code ( TR ) The code for the ( 5R55S transmission is " L " )
That indicates a problem with your automatic transmission.
Google that code and you will have the answer. It is a pressure circuit code in the transmission

You could have a : ( C6 ) - 3 speed automatic transmission ( check the sticker on the end of the drivers door for the transmission code " K " or an ( E4OD ) - 4 speed automatic transmission ( code " E " ) Has an overdrive cancel switch on the end of the gear selector lever and displays P R N (D) 2 1
