Your drive shaft probably snapped in a pivot you'll have to take it off and look at it that happens on derby cars alot..
i cannot shift from 3 to reverse my cable line for the shifting is disconnected and don't know where it suppose to go

First check the linkage for the 2000 Dodge Neon transmission to make sure that it is fully going into reverse. If it is, then the transmission needs to be taken out and pulled apart to see what internal parts have failed, and how to fix it.
Yes it will quite easily, you have to swap intakes.

well i know that the normal neon came in an srt-4 package with the body of the srt-4 with the plain neon's parts but just to be sure i would go to my local dodge dealer and ask. Yes it defenitly does!

yes, just like any other nut or bolt. I was wondering the same thing when doing an oil change on my 95' Plymouth neon, but it was just really stuck on there.

rear brakes froze to the drum..gotta love the snow Your transmission is done, it will have to either be replaced or rebuilt. Neither of which is cheap or easy. Sorry! Ixnayer
