Counter clockwise to remove.
Either the fan is no good or the heat sensor in your radiator, that turns the fan on is not working!!
Cam sensor on 1996 Dodge intrepid 3.5 V6 is on the driver's side on top where the cam gear turns on the front of the engine.. Usually has a 90 deg. connector for the wires.. MUST be air gapped correctly to work proplerly.. DO NOT Bottom the sensor out against the cam gear unless the new sensor has a card board disc glued to the end of the sensor to set the gap... Good luck!
The electric cooling fan on a 97 Dodge Neon turns the blades in a clockwise rotation. This pulls air through the radiator and across the engine.
my 97 did the same thing after it overheated. i let it set for months thinking i had blown the motor. come to find out my water pump locked up and broke my timing belt. replaced the belt and it started right up
Its on the bottom driver side of the radiator. Its a plastic piece with a spout that turns to open.
Follow the top radator hose to where it connects to the motor. On my 97 stratus you follow the top hose which leads to piece where the radiator cap turns on, take out the 2 bolts and underneath is your thermostat
Sounds like you have radiator trouble. Have you checked the fluid level in the radiator?

I have a 1998 Dakota so, looking at the engine from the front, the draincock is located on the lower right corner of the radiator. It is a black plastic knob that turns counter clockwise, 1/4 turn to open. It is not like the old style "wing-nut". That would have been too easy!
most likely will be but make shure it has fuel and spark first.
Without more details it is hard to give an answer. Key things to notice are: The engine turns over? The starter doesn't catch? The starter doesn't work?
There is a drain valve on the lower portion of the radiator. it is located on the passanger side, visible through the splash shield. it is a small butterfly knob that turns 180 degrees, then pulls strait out. Please view my BIO for access to my Saturn help site. under cooling, i have placed a picture of the drain plug.
