1999 Toyota 4 Runner trailer lights have no power to plug on vechile is there a fuse somewhere I am missing?

There is no fuse; however, there is a "taillight converter" located in the rear of the vehicle that has failed. It's a little black box, located on the driver's side in the rear quarter panel (behind plastic in cargo area). This electrical component is used because your vehicle has separate bulbs for turn and brake lights, the trailer will use a single bulb. Therefore, the converter adapts the 3 wire system (left turn, right turn, brake light wires) to a two wire system.
Replace that component and your golden; but they're not always easy to come by. Toyota wants $200 for the part, auto parts store carry an aftermarket part made by Hopkins for about $50 (Hopkins 43415). HOPE THAT HELPS!
