That's an electronic engine, and you'd need to either hook up a computer with the appropriate software (i.e., DDEC for Detroit, Insite for Cummins, ET for Cat), or use something like a ProLink IQ with an SAE J1708 connector just to read faults. The ProLink can only scan and clear codes, and won't have the full functions of ECM software.
