Hi,
It really depends on what your using your Graphics Card (GPU). As most people say gaming I'll go with that. 4gb of RAM memory is usually enough as the bottleneck in a system is most commonly in the processor or graphics card. A good value GPU for gaming would be an ATI Radeon HD5770 which retails at about £100GBP.

no not really you need like a 3 or 4 if u like gaming -Improve- In regards to the above answer i think they were referring to graphics memory not RAM. A 1 GB graphics card is awesome for gaming, but 4 gigs of ram wouldn't hurt either.
Depends. If you have only 1GB RAM, the game will lag. If you have a lower end graphics card, it will hardly run or wont run at all. A better graphics card is best but more RAM will help.
I have a suggestion for a graphics card and a suggestion for someone to ask. Well my suggestion for the graphics card is the nvidia 260, nvidia 280, or the 295. There are also Ones called nvidia 9800 that do and don't have 1gb of ram. It also depends on how much ram you wanna give up. My suggestion person to email is a person who works for a computer company. His email is logan@tiger.tv
If you have 1GB of total RAM, then it will run VERY VERY slowly. I would recommend buying another 1GB or so of RAM and a better graphics card if you want a decent Minecraft experience.
a 512mb graphics card is a very general statement. 512 megabytes is pretty bad for a graphics card, but it is doable. chances are the graphics card itself is bad, not necessarily just because it's 512mb.
You can not convert the RAM that is on the PC to RAM for your graphics card. The only way to get RAM for a graphics card is to buy one that already has RAM on it. The graphics cards that have their own RAM are normally higher end ones that cost about $50-$70 for the cheapest ones.
I would recommend a computer with at least 8GB ram, i5 processor and 1GB graphics card. Also a large hard drive. An SSD will only increase load times.
Only if you have an integrated graphics card that is built into your motherboard can it take advantage of your ram.
32-bit Windows has an address space of 4GB. Part of that is used by system BIOSes and graphics memory. With a 256MB graphics card about 3.3-3.5GB of RAM can be addressed and used, assuming you have 4GB fitted. If you fit a graphics card with 1GB of memory only about 2.6-2.8GB of the RAM would be addressable and usable. See the related link for further information.
For photo editing, a good graphics card is usually not necessary. That one will be good. More important is lots of hard drive space, RAM, and CPU power.
yes
Yes, the laptop is good. But do not expect much from 525m. While it is not bad, it is really far from allowing you to play high demanding games (Crisis 2 etc) with all graphics options enabled.
