Stupid question field doesn't allow enough room to finish statement- The heater blows cold when I have it on high and I'm starting to smell coolant inside, the temp gauge is still waving between half and red and I'm still not seeing any smoke or fumes from under the hood after I turn her off or while it's at rest at a stop. I did notice some signs of spray from the reserve coolant tank and some around the A/C compressor clutch (like the radiator spat all over it).. could it be the heater core? Sometimes I do smell coolant inside. And when I shut her down sometimes I hear this aggressive bubbling sound coming from the coolent reserve. The thermostat waves between halfway and the red but mostly after start up and after a while of driving. I read somewhere that low pressure in the reserve tank (bad covering/lid) can cause boiling and spitting, or that it could be a bad thermostat. And somewhere else that if the a/c clutch doesn't engage it can throw the temp off too.. I'm finding way too many possibilities on Google and I don't know where to begin lol..
