when you open the hood of your 1991 Jeep cherokee, look at the right side fender( drivers side) you will see a black box mounted to the fender well behing and next to the air box,. that is the Electronic Control Module ( ECM). I hope this helps.
12 indicates battery input to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) was disconnected during the last 50 key starts. -Jkanly
It is 175 ft lbs for the front wheel bearing of a grand cherokee
1996
What's the question?
No, the Grand is different from the Cherokee.
Swapping the ECM (Engine Control Module) from a 1998 Grand Cherokee to a 1996 Grand Cherokee is generally not recommended, even if both vehicles have the same engine. The ECMs may have different programming, connectors, or communication protocols due to changes in the vehicle's electronics and systems over the years. It's best to use an ECM that is specifically designed for the year and model of the vehicle to ensure compatibility and proper function.
