If it isn't blowing air our of the vents, check the fuses in the fuse panel. If the fuses check out of, you will need to check for power at the blower motor. You can do this with a 12 volt test light that avaible at any parts store. Check the wires that attach to the motor. If you have power, your motor is bad and needs to be replaced. If you have no power, you have a short in the circuit. Check the resistor in the blower housing. I've seen a lot of these go bad recently.

It doesn't have a cabin filter.
Your 2000 Chevy Blazer air-conditioning bracket is held in place with for retaining bolts. Remove the retaining bolts with a 9/16 socket. The air-conditioning bracket will come off.

The thermostat could be stuck open.
Control problem, blend door not working are the places to start
the heater core was stopped up just flushed it out ok now
You might need freon
check the temp guage if low change the thermostat
absolutely, but the kits can get expensive. Not as expensive as what you'll be charged by a mechanic though.
