You may have a bad vacuum leak or a clogged fuel filter. Check your plugs and wires to make sure they're in good shape.
You have connected the wires to the wrong plugs.
Spark plugs and wires
You will see wires right on top of the motor. You can easily follow these wires to the spark plugs.
I would replace the spark plugs after 50K, the wires and plugs again at 100K.
I had this happen on my 1997. I had to replace the spark plugs and spark plug wires. The seals around the top of the valve cover around where the plug wires insert wear out. Once they do they let oil in and that messes up the spark plugs. Once I replaced everything my issues went away.
whenever you change the plugs it is a must that you change the coil packs and wires. for some reason the plugs never seem to fire properly with the old wires and packs. i replace everything about every 40,000 miles
