disconnect the battery or take it to autozone If you do not have the cause of the light fixed, it will come back on.
When this problem came up with my dodge stratus my husband found that a fuse was blown. We changed our battery and it would not start for us either. but as soon as he fixed some wiring and changed the fuse it was fine.
The ABS light is on because there is a problem with the ABS. The light won't go out until the problem is fixed. As long as the ABS light is on the ABS will not function.
The power door locks and the radio in a 2000 Dodge Stratus SE may stop working at the same time because of a blown fuse. Another issue may be faulty wiring causing a problem for one or both of the issues. Both of these problems can be fixed by taking the vehicle to an automotive garage or shop to be fixed by someone who has experience in these vehicles.

I have an 01 Stratus and this issue is caused by a broken clock spring in the steering column. From what I gather it's rather expensive to replace but I'm checking to see if there's a Dodge recall on it. If not, it could possibly be covered under a Federal warranty being the airbags wouldn't deploy if you were in an accident. Check into it before you pay to get it fixed. Hope this helps out. You need to have the system checked for trouble codes. There are many things that can turn on warning lights.
