The computer maintains fault codes for several of the vehicle's subsystems.
The Autozone code scanner may only read engine fault codes while the computer is able to report problems on the engine, transmission brakes, traction control and possibly other subsystems.
No doubt, there are code scanners that can read your code and tell you what's wrong. But maybe the one at Autozone is just the wrong code scanner to find out what's wrong with your vehicle.
If all else fails, take it to Saturn, but there should be a few shops in your area that can read the code for you.
You need to go to autozone/advanced auto and check the codes with their scanner if you do not have one. Then to go saturnfans.com and in the how-to library the codes are listed by Wolfman.
