sounds like the SECURITY system is enabled... first of all, roll down driver side window and make sure battery is fully charged. ALL DOORS must remain closed during this process (hood and trunk must be closed also) start by placing key in ignition and turning like you are trying to start, won't start; but security light should be on leave key in RUN position until security light goes out (about 8-10 minutes) turn to off position, wait 5 seconds, then turn again to RUN position, won't start and security light will be on again again, leave in RUN position until security light goes out (8-10 min) again, turn to OFF, wait 5 seconds, then turn back to run, won't start but security will be on again do the process once more - key off, wait 5 seconds then back to run and vehicle should start this takes about 30 minutes all together , the computer must relearn the system since you replaced the battery without a backup (in the future, you can buy a 9v cigarette lighter plug device that leaves enough residual power for this) this can be bought at any outa parts store (autozone, schucks, napa, carquest, etc...) so we're looking at 3 times of nothing and on the 4th try it will start, it is very important to remember <<<<<DON'T OPEN THE DOORS OR ANYTHING DURING THIS PROCESS>>> or it will cancel the process and you must START IT ALL OVER...
