Raise the car up and check out the lower ball joints. You can grab the upper arm and if it rocks you need to replace the lower ball joints. Also look at the outer tie rods and suspension components
see a front end alignment mechanic.
they wont fit. unless you modified them.
Not unless you try to change the whole front end of the car.
Front end alignments are not a do-it-yourself procedure. It requires very specialized equipment/lifts/instruments/etc.
Mine was the hood. I lubed the hinges and the front latch. Problem solved!
There is something serious wrong, take it back!
Wheels are unbalanced or you need a front end alignment.
2002 DR body.
Yes it will. Any rear end from 1993 to 2002 will fit. All the parts are interchangable from 1993 to 2002. In 1998 the front end was changed a little but the rear end stayed the same.
you would have to get the hood also, but the conversion can be done
My 2002 Chrysler Sebring has 154K miles on it and the front end rattles when it goes over bumps. When I jack the car up and push in and out and side to side on the wheels their is no movement. Nothing seems to be lose when I pull on the front end. I had the same problem on my 2002 Sebring Lxi Sedan. Problem was worn swaybar linkage and bushings. I had the linkage and bushing replaced and the rattling disappeared.
The 1500 4X4 went to the independent front axle in 2002. The 2500 and 3500 4X4's still have a solid front axle.
