Your car is still worth too much to fool around with something like this. Get it to a Subaru expert as soon as you can. This doesn't have to be a dealer, (our local Subaru dealer doesn't seem to know anything about Subarus) an independent mechanic may be a good choice too. If the noise is caused by low oil pressure, you may need to spend a few hundred dollars now, but that is better than a few thousand later. --Ken
