Have you checked the air filter? Fresh Gas? Battery amps?
Does the starter spin and not engage? If so it is your starter solenoid.
turn the key to the ON position but do not start it. next fully depress the gas pedal three times in a row and wait about 10 seconds. after that your finished
It could be the starter solenoid
When you attempt to start it it cranks and cranks but doesnt feel like its going to turn over? Get it started and tell the auto parts worker you need a pickup coil.
It can be a couple of different things. The most common are. Starter- if it doesn't crank or start - if it cranks and doesn't start crank sensor fuel pump/regulator camshaft sensor fault coil pack (depends on vehicle)
I had the same problem in an old Chevrolet, and it turned out to be a short in the battery. Check it out.
Fuel pump? Pound on the fuel tank pretty firm with your fist 5 times or so and see if it starts
Turn the key off and on for three times and that should prime the system.
I crank the engine 3 to 4 times before its start..?so what is the problem of my car dodge caravan 2001...
could be the starter or the solenoid, they arer pron to heating up especially when using headers, peace
Turn key on DO NOT START, Push the gas pedal all the way to the floor 3 times. then turn key off and then start engine.
Several times they've used "Hip Hip Hurray"
could be fuel pump or a bad sensor - really needs to go to the dealer to be plugged into their computer
