Fuel pressure problem, faulty fuel pump or filter. Check fuel delivery by releasing fuel hose where it enters the engine. Hold the end of the hose in a bottle and have an assistant start the engine. You should get a nice stream of gasoline pouring down the hose. If not, the fuel pressure is too low, check fuel filter and pump.

I had the same problem looking for mine on a 205 1.6 GTi. You put the oil in where the breather cap is. It's a black plactic circular thing with two pies coming off it. The whole thing unscrews - pop your oil in there :)

I had this red stop light come on my 205 1.9 gti a few years back, the Head Gasket had gone :(
