Most would consider the greatest inventions of the 20th century to be the automobile, the personal computer, and plastic.
Several inventions of the 19th century come to mind regarding inventions made prior to the 20th century that were in use in that time period. One was the telephone by Alexander Graham Bell. Others included:* camera;* phonograph;* electric light bulb; and* motion picture projector.
The assembly line, the automobile, man-made satellites, the Hubble telescope, manned space shuttles, nuclear weapons, radio, television, computers, the internet, football - these are all examples of great 20th century inventions.
