Christians should show respect for The Bible in at least four ways: (1) Study it, (2) believe it, (3) obey it, (4) share it. James 1:21 - Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 - For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.James 1:22 - But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 1 Thessalonians 1:8 - For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything.[Quotes from NKJV]

Well, one way is by reading your Bible along the teacher/Pastor when they're reading it aloud. Another way is to stand, out of respect to God's Word, when it is being read aloud. Also, not putting anything on top of the Bible shows that it is more important to you than other items( like papers, bulletins, etc.)
It is not so much the book but what is in it that should be given our respect. The Bible is the word of God our Creator and as such should be read by all. God reveals Himself to mankind in His word and reveals what is yet to come. It behooves us all to get to know our Creator and what we should be doing to prepare for the final judgment process. Physically, the book should be given the proper care and not used as merely as a bookend or dust collector.
The best respect you can give the Bible is to read it and believe it. It is permissible to mark certain passages or Scriptures that mean something to you or that you want to remember. Don't just toss it around or rip its pages as it is God's holy Word written for mankind.

The answer to this question depends on why a Christian wants to wear a kippah. In the Jewish tradition, Kippahs are worn as a show of respect for God. Christians have different ways of showing respect for God as well. So no, it's not disrespectful for Christians to wear kippahs if they are in a Jewish ceremony or environment. But it may be best to ask the person in charge if it's ok.
